I’m Alan, a photographer based in Denver. I originally went to school for aeronautical engineering in 2019, but somewhere along the way I realized I was far more drawn to cameras and visual storytelling than equations and flight paths. What started as curiosity quickly became an obsession, and I eventually left school to pursue photography full time.

Outside of photography, I’m an avid lover of cinema. The films of Stanley Kubrick have had a huge influence on how I think about composition, atmosphere, and visual narrative. Music plays a big role in my life too, especially 60s rock and roll. Bob Dylan’s Blonde on Blonde is one of those albums I could listen to endlessly and never get tired of.

At home, life is a little quieter. I spend most of my time with my girlfriend Julianna and our husky Coco, who keeps us outside as she can’t sit still for long.

Long term, my goal is to open a portrait studio in downtown Denver inspired by the creative spirit of Andy Warhol’s Factory. I imagine it as a space where artists, musicians, and everyday people can walk in and collaborate, experiment, and leave with something honest and timeless
